Does it cost anything to use Maatrum?
No. Browsing the directory is free and doesn't require an account or sign-up.
What does "verified" mean?
Before a listing is published we confirm that the organization exists, that its contact details work, and that the services and age groups listed are accurate.
Verification is not an endorsement or a quality rating. It means the information is correct, not that we recommend one organization over another.
Which areas does Maatrum cover?
Most listings are in and around Chennai. We're adding other cities gradually. If you know of an organization elsewhere that should be listed, please tell us.
Can Maatrum tell me which school or therapy is right for my child?
No. Maatrum is a directory, not a clinical or advisory service. We can help you find and compare options, but decisions about diagnosis, therapy, or schooling should be made with qualified professionals who know your child.
I know an organization that should be listed. How do I suggest it?
Use the feedback form and choose "Suggest an organization to add." You don't need to be connected to the organization to suggest it.
A listing has wrong or out-of-date information. What should I do?
Please tell us through the feedback form — choose "Correct an existing listing" and name the organization. You can do this anonymously.
How do I know which government schemes apply to us?
Our government initiatives page lists national schemes with the age groups each one covers, and links to the official site for each. Eligibility is decided by the scheme, not by us, so check the official page before applying.
For schools, therapists and organizations
How do I get my school or practice listed?
Fill in the partner form with your organization's details. We review each submission before publishing.
Does listing cost anything?
No. Listing is free, and we don't charge for placement or ranking.
How long does review take?
